Don Valley Community Legal Services is community legal clinic funded by Legal Aid Ontario. Its services are free.

East York Meals on Wheels
Not-for-profit community service agency that delivers great tasting, balanced nutritious meals through the help of our dedicated volunteers. Halal meals available.


E.T. Seton Park

E.T. Seton Park is part of a chain of parks that form a forested corridor for hiking along the Don River. Along these trails, wildlife like red squirrels, eagles, deer and songbirds can sometimes be spotted.

The Archery Range can be used by beginners and advanced users. This unsupervised archery range is free to use. Rules are posted on-site.

The park is named after Ernest Thompson Seton, a Scottish-Canadian author, wildlife artist and founding member of Boy Scouts of America.

Fraser Mustard Early Learning Academy (Grades JK to SK)

Fraser Mustard Early Learning Academy, located in Thorncliffe Park, opened its doors September 3rd, 2013.

It includes 23 Kindergarten classes, 1 Diagnostic Kindergarten class, the KELI Program, The Heart (library), various multi-purpose learning areas, a rooftop learning area and a learning yard.

There is an on-site child care centre operated by Child Development Institute. The school houses community spaces which include an EarlyON Child and Family Centre and a Community Kitchen. Space is available after school hours by permit.

Fraser Mustard is part of TDSB’s Learning Network 5 in Learning Centre 1.

Health Access Thorncliffe Park (HATP)

Health Access Thorncliffe Park provides health and wellness services and connects people to other resources.

HATP services are free and open to all residents living in the M4H postal code. Services can be accessed without a health card and without a medical referral. Language and interpretation services are available as needed.

Jenner Jean-Marie Community Centre (JJMCC)

Jenner Jean-Marie Community Centre is attached to the Thorncliffe Library, with access to the Thorncliffe Park Daycare.

The JJMCC is a free centre, meaning the following is no-charge:
> All City-delivered, registered and drop-in programs for all age groups.
> Permits for non-profit groups in rooms, gyms, & kitchens for all age groups.

Leaside Girls Softball League

Leaside Girls Softball league is a community based non-profit organization for girls Grades 2 to 12. It promotes a positive and relaxed environment in which all girls can learn the game and have fun putting their skills to the test in friendly competition with their peers. Seniors girls play in Thorncliffe Park.

Leaside Park and Outdoor Pool

Leaside Park is 3.4 hectare park near Millwood Road and Overlea Boulevard. It features a lit ball diamond, six lit tennis courts, a multipurpose sports field and a children’s playground. The park is also home to the Leaside Outdoor Pool.

Lemon & All Spice

Social enterprise for adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down Syndrome and other developmental disabilities. Located at 6 Overlea Blvd. Enjoy great cookies, sandwiches/wraps, salads and beverages!


Marc Garneau Collegiate Institute (Grades 9 to 12)

Marc Garneau Collegiate Institute is one of the most diverse secondary schools in the TDSB. The school offers many unique programs; horticulture, financial securities, English as a Second Language, Special Education, SHSM, and our TOPS program. It also has over 70 student-led co-curricular activities and a wide range of competitive team sports.

Midwives Clinic of East York – Don Mills

The clinic serves Thorncliffe Park, East York, Don Mills, and East Scarborough. Midwives who speak English, Arabic, French, Portuguese and Spanish. Administrators speak English, Tagalog, Urdu, Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati, Bengali, Malayalam, Tamil and some French.


ProAction Hockey League (PAHL) for Youth

The ProAction Hockey League is a free for Thorncliffe Park kids wanting to learn to play hockey, generously supported by Toronto Police and other sponsors. Skates, equipment, and clothing are provided by PAHL.

R.V. Burgess Park

R.V. Burgess Park is a 1.5 hectare park in the heart of Thorncliffe Park that features a community garden, a splash pad and a children’s playground.

Seniors Services offered by TNO

Programs focus on providing access to services for older adults aged over 55 in Thorncliffe Park, Flemingdon Park and surrounding areas to encourage an active lifestyle that enables seniors to age comfortably in their homes and communities while staying connected to healthcare and community support services.

Clients are supported by addressing their emerging concerns, monitoring their progress, mobilizing necessary resources, promoting independence, and encouraging community participation through social, recreational, educational, and wellness activities, as well as special events.

Thorncliffe Park Autism Support Network (TPASN)

Thorncliffe Park Autism Support Network provides free community-based integrated services for children with disability, and their families.

TPASN’s mission is to provide culturally competent and needs-based developmental services and mental health support for children and youth with disability to ensure they are fully integrated into society and community life.

Thorncliffe Park Day Care Centre

Serving Thorncliffe Park families since 1969 with educational programs for infants through 12-year-olds. Languages spoken are: Amharic, Azeri, Bengali, English, Farsi, Gujrati, Punjabi, Tagalog, Turkish, Urdu.

Thorncliffe Park Public School (Grades 1 to 5)

Thorncliffe Park Public School is committed to providing every student with a high standard of education through excellence in teaching and the promotion of strong community partnerships. The student population represents 47 countries.

Thorncliffe Park Tennis Club (TPTC)

TPTC is non-profit, community tennis club. with six outdoor hardcourts with lights, clubhouse, certified pros and instructors, junior lesson programs, summer camps, adult clinics, round robins, club teams, tournaments, and social events in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere.

TPTC is a seasonal club that runs from April to the end of October.

Valley Park Middle School (Grades 6 to 8)

Valley Park Middle School is a large community school with a tradition of excellence where, in partnership with parents, multicultural diversity is valued and celebrated.

The Women’s Cycling Network works to promote cycling as wheels of empowerment for women of all backgrounds, and especially for those whose culture prohibited them from learning to ride a bike.

WCN brings together women who are new to biking and experienced cyclists, serving both newcomers to Canada as well as long-term residents, with the goal of helping those who identify as female feel safer getting around by bike.
